"Took my dad here after he hit his eye on the night stand and cut it open in several spots. They said it needed to be closed up immediately. 6 hours later still bleeding and no results. Sitting in a hospital bed waiting for a ophthalmologist that was supposed to meet him at the other hospital they sent us to. Still no doctor."

Customer support doesn’t know where there own hospitals are located, place billing account on hold preventing patient from paying bill- but also exhausting time before sent to collections unnecessarily! Will NEVER RETURN TO AN ASCENSION FACILITY EVER! Most incompetent group of healthcare professionals"

"Yesterday visited the ER and am very impressed with the quiet, non-chaotic environment. Dr. Ron Thies and Nurse Abigail rock. Thorough, explained everything, calm, maybe most important- approachable. Figured out my problem and took time to talk with me. The ladies at the front desk and the CT technician - very personable and well-run. If you want to avoid the insanity of a larger ER and want a calm approach, no wait time, I think this is the right place. Thank you, all."

"So we went here twice within the last week and a half. Mind you, this has ALWAYS been the hospital I chose to go to. First time, my fiance, who is a type 1 diabetic, was diagnosed with bronchitis and ONLY given an inhaler, no antibiotics. After following up with PCP and being given antibiotics and being told to go to ER immediately if he had a hard time breathing due to slight whistling in his lungs. Two days later we went there again because her could not catch his breath. They refused to let anyone back with him (even when he asked because he can't recall all of his meds) and 3 hours later said no change and sent him home. The following day his PCP CONFIRMED pneumonia. His PCP could see evidence in it in his X-ray from ER. To say I'm furious is the understatement of the year! I would never in my life suggest this hospital to a single person that I know. They ARE going to kill someone with their lack of knowledge and lack of care!"

"River District has been my go to hospital for years. Great doctors. Kind doctors. Love the home town feel. My husband has multiple issues, this hospital has helped him more than the bigger hospitals.all the personal are great."
