"Owen Intermediate 5th and 6th is as disastrous and disappointing as Edgemont and Savage ever were. Poorly organized. Poor professionalism. Poor academics/ learning for students. And the school grounds, parking lots are a dangerous mess. Vanburen Schools are sub standards, and attract sub standard staff. Not recommended."

"Owen Intermediate is a very good school! It is a 5th-6th grade school, so it has a direct focus. The building has been upgraded over the past year. The PTSO is active this year and we are working on a Tiger Den area for the kids to use for indoor recess and for reward time with projector Wiis, air hockey tables, foosball tables, ping pong tables and areas for board game play. It is not quite finished yet but the kids love what we have so far!"
