"My 3 year old informed us that a teacher "slapped his face because she was so mad at him." When I let the director know, her response was "I don't believe that" instead of taking the proper protocols to protect my child. When we were attempting to drop off the next morning... the teacher, accused of physically assaulting my child, was in his classroom. No way were we leaving him with her. I asked the director why and her response was, "We are short staffed and I have to give her (teacher) the benefit of the doubt." We left and called higher-ups. Still haven't received and incident report and we were moved to Caledonia child care YMCA.... which was not any better and lasted 2 weeks . He is no longer there, as of today, and their review isn't great either."
