"You can get in trouble for no reason my friend got sent to the office for ripping a piece of paper no joke don't send your kids here its not worth it plus teacher's take everything out of context. Overall this school is garbage. save your kids before its to late."
"They made GMS even worse with the New Tech and IB programs if I could give it negative stars I would. Note from friend: Awful people, awful teacher did I mention awful people?"
"I love the absolute pain and agony of middle school. Here they embrace the crappiness of middle school life to a norm. Every-time I eat the cafeteria food I know I'm probably eating one of the students that occasionally goes missing around here. Also I really love the end of the day, they really do a good job of making the end of the day feel like a relief from eternal suffering. #Where'sTheSpanner!? Also, too much water!"
"3.5 Stars - There are many things good and many things bad about this school. I'll start with the school itself, the new pool is very good and provides a great swimming environment. The new band room is large and has plenty of room for band class, it's also very good acousticly. The auditorium is very large and is very good for all kinds of events. The lunchroom is fine if not a little plain. Also the library is a hood reading space and has a digital catalog. The double gyms are also quite nice but not incredible. There are also 2 enclosed court yards which provide a change in environment if a student would want it. The classrooms are mostly good though some need some work here and there. On school grounds there is a large track with a small amount of bleachers and a football field. There are also many tennis courts, 2 soccer fields and a patch of open land for outdoor activities. The teachers here are pretty good although some are very pushy and don't even care what you have to say. The extras you can buy at lunch are absurdly expensive though. Fighting is not talerated but teachers don't seem to care about verbal bullying and don't stop it if they see it. The teachers typically only take action once it excalates to the point of verbal abuse. It's also been said that some teachers will "bully" students or Target them. The school is trying to do too much too fast by splitting into NT and IB. They have no really good way to keep track of compuers too. Some tech, mostly old servers, is outdated. Overall the school is overstretching itself."
"This school has a looong way to go as far as the "zero bully tolerance"! I almost lost my child to a bully! Not happy with the school's procedure and the teachers' attutude and actions for the situation. I pulled my acedemically advanced child who is taking high school courses out of this ridiculous school. PARENTS BEWARE! Their policy is bullshit."
