Burton Elementary was recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for Technology in 2019. "My family is new to the state of Michigan and grand rapids area. My 5year son who is in Kinder has only been in school at Burton Elementary for 3weeks and he is suppose to ride the bus to and from school. But for the past 3 weeks the school calls everyday and say they don't know what happened and my 5year old son was not on the bus and that his assigned 5th did not pick him up to take him to the bus after school. This school is really making a bad impression for themselves to me as a new comer to this area."
