CDS Lakeshore Head Start

CDS Lakeshore Head Start, located at 198 East Street in Coopersville, Michigan, is a school that offers early childhood education programs for children and families living in Ottawa or Northern Allegan Counties. Since 1966, CDS has been dedicated to providing services to help children and families prepare for their future. Our programs feature research-based curricula designed to teach children the necessary learning and social skills for kindergarten readiness. Our teachers are professionally qualified for preschool education, and our staff works hard to create a safe and culturally sensitive environment.

We strongly encourage family engagement and offer volunteering opportunities for parents on various committees. Parents can also volunteer to help in the classroom or on field trips. Our programs are designed to accommodate Spanish-speaking children and families, with many staff members fluent in Spanish. Head Start Wraparound, Full-day Early Head Start, and Child Care programs are available at CDS Lakeshore Head Start.
