Welcome to the Fruitport High School Softball Field, located at 357 East Pontaluna Road in Fruitport Charter Township, Michigan, United States. Our institution believes that sports can be a great training ground for life lessons, and we are dedicated to developing our student-athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
Our coaches play a key role in the development of our student-athletes, focusing on giving maximum effort every day. We understand the importance of modeling values and commitments for our players to follow. If you are interested in participating in collegiate athletics, please communicate this desire with your Guidance Counselor and the Athletic Office, as there are specific rules and regulations that must be followed while attending high school.
Before participation or tryouts, all athletes must have a current athletic physical on file, dated after April 15 to be valid for the following school year. Concussion education materials are available on our website, and a form must be completed and submitted to the athletic office before a student-athlete who has had a concussion or a suspected concussion may return to play.
Service fees for high school players are $85 per player, regardless of the number of sports played. Middle school fees are $25 per sport, with a maximum of $75 per school year, and must be paid within one week of the first practice.
Our SALT team, consisting of student-athletes who meet twice a month, focuses on developing personal leadership skills to be positive influences at Fruitport School.
