"Thank goodness I brought my Chocolate Lab with kidney failure elsewhere. This isn't a true hospital they have no overnight staff. Several doctors had left while I was a client. They can't even do a simple IV overnight. They also couldn't refer me anywhere. They refused to call me back and discuss two different hormones for anemia. I had to go 3 hrs south for care and to have the anemia hormone administered. The refusing to call me back to discuss the hormones even after leaving a note with the front desk after spending over $3000 was it for me. Oh and my Dog is still alive after they told me there's nothing more they could do. It's called the internet. Read, teach yourself something more then what vet school years ago programmed into you and stay much more up to date on things. Thank goodness I refused to listen to them. If your pet is critically ILL do not go here. Go to PAWS in Wausau, WVRC in Waukesha, or UW Madison. These are the only 24hr 365 day pet hospitals in WI all the rest are just Clinics. There is nothing in the UP. Plus they have specialists and Internists on staff."

"Saw Dr Scott yesterday. So thorough with Charlie’s exam. Another vet gave me two bottles of ear rinse for inflammation and yeast in Charlie’s ears, which never got rid of the yeast. My poor dog was suffering. Dr Scott gave me a prescription to reduce the inflammation and kill the yeast once and for all. So grateful. And he showed me how to use it so it really gets in there. Excellent care. Thank you."

"This place is proof that good vet clinics exist. Fair and polite in all ways. Clean facilities. One thing i really appreciate is they will actually call you to reschedule an appointment with you, if they have slots open up. That means the office girls actually do thier work. I would take your animals here. They actually care."

"We took our 100 pound German Shepherd, Lupo, to Iron Mountain Animal Hospital on last minute notice due to an urgent issue as he had a dangerously infected leg and was very uncomfortable. They were able to get us in the next day (when no animal hospital in the area would accommodate us). The building/facility is new and very clean. The waiting area is comfortable for pets of all shapes and sizes. The reception team, nurses, and doctors were very gentle and patient with Lupo and ensured he was as comfortable as possible. I would recommend Iron Mountain Animal Hospital to any pet owner that needs urgent or consistent care for their pet."
