"Portions are very slim on breakfast orders need more hash browns.And it seems when you ask for 2 scrambled eggs you get one. I'm just saying we pay good money we deserve a fair breakfast. This place ain't cheap so why short us on everything else."

"I normally never have anything negative to say about this place but the hot roast beef sandwich was very very bland and salt didn't help it but it was tender and the mixed veggies also lacked flavor other than the taste of coming out of a can. The lemon rice soup should always be on the menu it's really good. The employees are very welcoming and friendly. Great place I just don't recommend the hot roast beef sandwich or mixed veggies."

"Service was fine. Atmosphere was odd. Food was terrible. If I wasn't so hungry I wouldn't have eaten another bite. On the positive side our local possum loved it. I watched as he licked up all of the grease from the pie tin the food was placed in. Save your money, I would not recommend eating at this restaurant."

"We just moved here from the Chicago Suburbs and we’ve been looking for a cozy diner with good prices, friendly staff and good food like something we had back in IL. We tried Michael’s today and we LOVED it. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was super friendly and we had a great conversation and our Busser was very nice too. My husband loved his country fried steak and the lemon rice soup was better than Nationals. Eggs were perfect and pancakes were fluffy. Couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely be back! It was very clean, easy parking, priced right and I was easy impressed with the seats haha We got eggs, pancakes, toast, soup, country fried steak and coffee. Spent $25 for two of us."
