"My favorite place to dine out for a special occasion. The food is excellent, a little pricey (about $45-60 per person if you order appetizers, dinner and dessert), but so worth it. The staff is friendly and service is excellent. They work hard to serve you well. They don't rush you out and want you to dine slowly to enjoy the good and atmosphere. Every time we've been there, our food has been top-notch. If you are looking for delicious, authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. You'll be glad you came."
"Food was super salty. We got a few appetizers.. the calamari, the beet salad, the zucchini and the burrata with polenta… most of them were extremely salty! For my dinner, I ordered their signature carbonara pasta made with cheese from their cheese wheel… the pancetta was just plain old bacon and everything was SUPER salty. Drinks were ok! Very strong! The atmosphere was nice, but food was not impressive. Would not come again."
"First time at Mangiabevi Urban Italian last night. You can truly taste each ingredient in every dish and they aren't masked by too-rich of flavors. Our favorite was the grilled calamari, not breaded/fried - never had it like that and we already are craving it again this morning. We also raved about the Spaghetti Costiera, it had tons of varieties of delicious seafood in it with a pasta covered in tomato sauce. I also had the limoncello martini and the server let us know they make their own limoncello. So naturally I had to have two of them to really give it a try. My only negative was eating dinner in the back room, it was a bit too brightly lit and the music was very quiet, and with only a few tables eating it was too quiet in the room so we felt the need to speak in hushed voices. Other than that, it was great! The other rooms had better lighting and the music was at a good level in there."
"Mangiabevi Urban Italian is a hidden gem amidst the sea of commercial chain restaurants in the area. It's an authentic Italian oasis that stands out. The live music adds a charming touch to the atmosphere. We were treated to a unique experience with the table-side carbonara, where they used a torch to heat the cheese, creating a delicious spectacle. The Sole fish, also prepared table-side, was not only impressive but served a generous portion for three. The surprise came with the calamari, which was cooked to perfection, a delightful departure from the usual fried version found at other restaurants. This set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend Mangiabevi for a taste of Italy that's a cut above the rest."
"Simply put, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The atmosphere is so charming and fun, and even though you're in an upscale restaurant , it has all the feels of being at home. Our server Diane could not have been any better. She was so sweet and attentive. We felt like we wanted to invite her out with us for a girls night out sometime! The food was to die for! You can taste the love that went into this cooking! And the chef/owner Mauro came out to meet us, and we heard some of the stories he had growing up in Italy. He explained that his lasagna, he makes once a year, the week of Mothers Day (which is why my sister's and Mom and I were there) which was his mothers recipe. We got a tour of the restaurant and even got to see the bee houses he keeps in the back. He was such a wonderful man. We all felt that we've known him forever! If you've not been to this establishment yet, please don't wait. You will be so happy you went."
