"Good food, lots of south Indian food varieties. There is also snacks and tea. All are usually reliably good. I usually get either Thalappakattu Biriyani, or Mutton Sukka + Fried Rice, most days the meat is good, on some occasions the meat has been a bit below expectation (chewy) but overall 90% of the times delivers good taste and quality"
"This is the third time I ordered food from this restaurant as I recently started a job close to this place. Today I ordered Chicken Biriyani (hot spicy) from their published Menu ($9.99). The guy who took the order said 20 minutes, pick up at noon. The time I called was 11:34 AM and I said I have a meeting at noon and won't be able to do noon and he immediately said he can do it in 10 minutes. So, I said I will be there by 11:45 AM. When I reached there just past 11:45 AM, this guy angrily told me in broken English, you just called wait there. In few minutes he gave me the Biriyani and the price had jumped by 30% ($12.99) from their published menu and the Biriyani was medium heat. The last two times I ordered mutton Biriyani and they were above average. This was tasteless chicken mixed with colored rice with no flavor. Good thing is that Troy has ton of options."
"This place used to be good when they started. The thalapakatti mutton biryani is definitely a day old. Probably prepared on Friday for the whole weekend. Kurrys is more reliable now. They dont have the same menu for all three days. The owners should never deceive their customers, like they are giving it for free. Noone is willing to spend their money in this economy on a stale food. The owners can try to respond saying the food is fresh, but customers do know what they are eating and could tell if its fresh or old. Atleast the owners should have the courtesy to correct or apologize when complained. Being adamant is just bad business. They are having sale for the food with $9.99.Atleast that should have tipped me off. My Bad!!!"
"I am thrilled with my experience at SpiceHub Kitchen and Indian Groceries. The convenience of ordering a takeaway is matched only by the authenticity of their Indian groceries. The takeaway menu offers a diverse range of mouthwatering dishes, each bursting with traditional flavors that transport me back to India. And the grocery section is a paradise for anyone looking to recreate genuine Indian recipes at home. With fresh ingredients and a wide selection, this establishment has become my one-stop destination for both a quick meal and stocking up my pantry. Highly recommended!"
"Truly! A hidden gem inside of a grocery store. I was in Troy and one of my friend suggested to try this restaurant. I ordered Veg Dum Biryani, medhu vada and samosas… Food was full of flavor and tasted really amazing! Quantity was also good. Importantly, Don’t forget to try Masala Chai. Will visit again!"
