Leo's Coney Island STERLING HEIGHTS

"If you're coming in to eat this is a great restaurant to go to the food is always good the staff is always professional they're awesome with the kids. But if you order takeout they always forget something. I'm at the point where I don't even want to eat at this restaurant. They are always forgetting something. Today they forgot my onion rings i really wanted them. So much so that my overly cooked Philly wasn't even aesthetically pleasing. The meat is overly cooked and crunchy. Honestly i try to avoid this place for takeout. They don't review before handing out to you. check your order in store before leaving. On top of it their system begs for an 20, 25 or 30% tip. You call them up and they put your name in a book but can never find your name or number when you go in. I have never been reimbursed because i hate being that guy Like one time they forgot the patty for a cheese burger Another time they forgot the cheese on two cheeseburgers for the kids. Dine in is fine. Take out tends to be a repeat problem. Edit: i did talk to them today. They replaced the food and apologized. I will state they do mess up the takeout orders frequently. But they are willing to fix it. I would give them 5 stars. If this wasn't such a big deal. No one wants to return to a restaurant because they didn't do their due diligence. I really hope they fix this. Like i said their dine in is always amazing"

"I placed a carry out order for lunch. I ordered something simple, which I thought would take no time at all to prepare. I waited 30 minutes for an order of fries, grilled cheese and a slice of cake. When I received my order, everything was cold and the cake was extremely cold. The waitress was pleasant enough, but the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended!"

"Great Experience! Charity (cherry) was our waitress & was the sweetest person to us and our 5 year old daughter. It was her birthday and cherry went above & beyond! Food was great! Our daughter was still taking about Cherry days later, wanting to draw her a picture. Can't say enough good things about our experience."

"Food was nothing to talk good about. Asked to speak to the manager and was told he's never there and even if they called him, he probably wouldn't answer. Talked to two different waitresses, and they both explained they were looking for new jobs. It's too bad because the service was great and they are going to loose good workers. This Leo's is nothing like the Flint Leo's. I'd suggest going to a different restaurant in the area and just bypass this place. Again the food absolutely awful. The parking lot had a lot of trash laying around. Inside the restaurant was very clean."

"LYNN was an incredible server. Friendly, prompt, and made sure everything was to our liking. (She seems to be sectioned near the bar and the tall booths) The food was delicious--im pretty sure the Tzatziki sauce is sour cream based if that matters to you."
