"I was a student at Palette from December of 2022 till October of 2023. After graduating high school I knew that I really wanted to do something that allows me to be creative and make others feel good. After joining Palette, I immediately found a passion for hair. Both Hans and Caitlyn are amazing instructors and talented in their own ways. Hans teaches such unique skills and techniques that not only work in a salon but also on a runway. He excels in French hair cutting techniques that are customizable to each client. Hans is someone I started to look up to right away as he has done it all and I find a lot of interest in the things he has done. Caitlyn is an amazing instructor when it comes to learning hair color. She is so informative and really takes her time on showing us what we need to know. She was always making sure we felt comfortable and confident! They were both so patient when it came to teaching something. You really do get that one on one time with them and never looked past. Not only is this a great place to learn and an amazing hairstylist, it was also just a fun place to be. Whether that is celebrating a holiday at the school, competing in a styling competition for a prize, watching a movie (yes about hair) and so much more!!(you just have to find out for yourself) Overall my experience at Palette was amazing! There is not a thing I would change about my time there. I will forever cherish the advice they gave and lessons they taught. I couldn’t thank Hans and Cailtyn enough for making me the hair artist I am today and the one I will grow to be!!"

A place where endless creativity is welcomed and encouraged. The skills that the owners Hans and Caitlyn Van Doornik taught me, made me able to start my career right after graduation. "I absolutely love this school!!!! Palette has allowed me to explore the world of cosmetology and how creative it can be. I can’t imagine any other place allowing me to learn as in depth about the things I want to learn in addition to the subjects required to pass the state license exam. I feel ready to take on the “real world” with the experience I have gained here.
