"Food was good. But my dine-in experience was not stellar. When I ordered my food the person who waited our table said to me "Are you sure? That's a lot of food." It came across as very rude. They also came by the table an unnecessary amount of times and I felt rather uncomfortable."
"I come here with family often. Good local diner chain. Food quality is consistent. There are many food options here as you would expect from a coney island. The lemon rice soup is so delicious! Great place for breakfast that fills you up. Staff attentive and orders can be placed fast."
"The Michigan salad with gyro meat was very tasty. I'd say they were a little light on the amount of meat for the money but it was still reasonable. The service was impeccable. It wasn't too busy since it was between lunch and dinner. The server made herself useful cleaning menus to keep her productively busy. I'm impressed!"
"Order breakfast #1 eggs hash browns sausage and toast. Got my order took a few bits and noticed a very long dark hair in my food called waitress over explained what I found asked if I wanted a new plate? No thank you I won’t come here again I looked into kitchen noticed a cook with dark hair and a beard with no hair nets! Pretty gross won’t ever come here again!"
"I fly into Detroit quite a bit. I usually pick up food and bring it back to Atlanta because, like myself, my children are native Detroiters, so they love Coney Island food. I bought a club and because my flight got in late I wasn't able to look at it until the next morning. On my sandwich was a hair. I called and asked for a manager (who never came to the phone), and he told the waitress he wouldn't give me a replacement when I returned to Detroit. I don't think African American business is a priority for this establishment. Penny rich pound foolish."
