"Jay from admissions at the front desk in the ER was not only unprofessional but incredibly disrespectful. He started swearing at me (in front of several people in the waiting room) when I had asked if I could go to my mom’s room. I’m disgusted at this behavior and will be making a report to HR. What a joke."

"I recently had two MRI's of my brain done. To say that I had some anxiety would be an understatement. Before the procedure, they called me to ask me what they could do to ease my anxiety. I asked for a washcloth and three blankets to lay across my waist down as it provides comfort in the feeling of being secure to me. When I arrived, we had conversation which made me feel comfortable because it took my mind off the procedure. When I was ready to begin, one of the techs came in with the blankets and washcloth (to go over my eyes) I was so happy that they had prepared ahead of time to help me feel secure. 100% recommend McLaren Central Michigan for all your health needs."

"Went in to the er last night .Was very displeased at the treatment that was given to me . Was not weighed or given a Call light . No vitals tooken .The nurse stood there why I unclothed saying u need to take ur pants off. Waited an hour 30 plus After having a bad fall then I had to get my own call light .was told by a Cn This is an ER when asking How long it would be before I was seen Then I ended up signing the self discharged paper because they were rude but no problems rushing right back in to give it to me as soon as I asked . Been a Rn for 20 yrs and never seen such Aweful care.. Clearly was hurt wheel chaired in and back out"

"I have been to many hospitals for myself or my children. But this time it was for myself and had a very sensitive situation that required immediate surgery... I have never been so happy with a hospital. They explained everything so well and made me feel less alone. Sarah and the rest of the nurses I had were absolutely amazing. The OB doctor was absolutely amazing and so sensitive with my situation. Jim who was in charge of my anesthesia was the best I have ever had and made me feel like I was not alone as well, he explained everything so perfectly that I could understand and opened up on his own similar situation. This hospital and this staff deserve so much more then 5 stars. Thank you to all my nurses, doctors and everyone who helped me through this difficult and sensitive situation and caring for me and making me feel less alone. I highly recommend this hospital!"
