"Unfortunately, I would not recommend The Morrie Royal Oak. We were here for a work event of 50 people. They did not have enough food for the buffet that was preselected and offered and were unable to replenish the food when only 3/4 of the team ate. More food was offered, it took a while, semi-understanably, but they only brought the protein. To be honest, I don't even know what sides were offered because they were gone and no one had overflowing plates or seconds! They had 2 trays of each side only and could not refill! Somehow they realized there was a mistake, but by the time they were taking individual orders for those of us that had not eaten our bus was ready to leave when our food arrived and we were unable to even eat at the venue and had to take it to go! This place has potential. It is an inviting atmosphere and the server was nice. Singular, server. For 50 people. I felt a bit bad for her, but unfortunately, they did not prepare for a pre-planned event. From what I tasted of the food, it was not seasoned well and fairly oily, with exception to the burger and waffle fries someone ordered. Better luck next time."

"I brought some guests here for a Father’s Day brunch. They don’t have espresso so we ordered coffees with cream and sugar. It was great coffee! For our meals, we ordered two avocado toasts, a salad and the Morrie breakfast. Nothing bad to say, my avo toast was good, it was a little bit spicy which was odd considering I asked for no chili flakes. The service was decent, I didn’t catch our waitress’ name but she was pretty good. The atmosphere is definitely very unique, its very punk rock vibes. Rock music was playing at 10 am. I’d probably come back to try dinner, that seems like a better vibe for this spot!"

"Checked out this music themed restaurant for brunch and we were pleasantly surprised by the live music in the afternoon and the yummy food. This place has decent amount of indoor and outdoor dining area. A Great Hangout spot for you and your pooch. This place can get really busy so make sure to call ahead and reserve a table. Definitely recommend 10/10."
