"While waiting for a Curbside order to be ready at Somerset, my sister and I decided to stop here. The steak rolls and hot chicken biscuits were delicious! The table bread and butter was some of the best I had. I also ordered the famous Steak & Biscuits. Everything was tasteful, I would definitely dine in again"

"Normally excellent food this time the meatloaf, potatoes AND broccoli were entirely way too salty. When I mentioned it to the manager as we had checked out, she apologized and asked if she could get me something. I declined and she offered a dessert on her carrot or chocolate cake, which I thought was exceptionally nice and accepted the chocolate cake. After waiting 15 minutes—no cake arrived and we left. Keep in mind when we called her over we had already paid our bill and coats were on. Why offer when she didn’t need to. I can pay for food there I can certainly pay for cake. What was a nice gesture turned out to be an insult. And no she wasn’t putting out other fires as I noticed her on the way out. Great service starts at the top."

"Arrived at 1pm on a Friday - party of 5 with a reservation. Restaurant was not busy at time of our arrival. We were seated promptly. Greeted shortly after being seated, by our server. He delivered a small basket of donut style dinner rolls. They were very good; we all agreed. We ordered drinks. They were slow to come…. Shortly there after, we ordered lunch. Problems started for me when I noticed different service personnel for ordering our food vrs delivering food vrs delivering beverages vrs replenishment of beverages…. French fries served to two of us were actually cold, not cool. Fresh French fries to replace cold fries were served very late; after the meal was complete. Salad was served without dressing - took exceedingly long to get dressing. Ordered a 2nd beer that night almost rejected because it took so long to arrive. Our primary server said he thought someone else was supposed to bring the beer from the bar? Because the person that took our order didn’t serve us, all meals were present to the wrong recipient. We had to redirect each of 5 meals served. Also… No directional signage to direct patrons to the restroom. My elderly aunt walked to the hostess stand to ask where the restrooms were - they were in the opposite corner of the restaurant, upset her. In my opinion, this restaurant has big flaws in their approach to utilizing multiple servers for a single table, during what appeared to be a rather slow lunch period. There are way too many options for better food and service in Troy. I won’t return here."

"I had a fantastic dining experience at Stoney River Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and every bite was a culinary delight. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the mouthwatering sides, I couldn't get enough. The flavors were exceptional, and the presentation was top-notch. The ambiance and service were equally impressive, making it a memorable evening. I can't wait to return for another yummy meal!"

"The food is excellent. I specifically loved the ppetizer shrimp with whiskey pepper sauce. The chocolate cake was a dream as well. The service was sadly not very good. The young man was first not listening, then he was rushing us. In a good restaurant like this I am not happy when the check is put on one's table even before having ordered desert....we were not asked whether we like coffee with our desert.....so sadly not to great service. But overall a very nice place with great food!"
