Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita

"This is the first time ordering from Papa Romanos and I have to say this is one of my worst experience. I ordered pizza for my kids at 7 pm with delivery. At 8pm, I called them to get an update on the pizza and they told me that the order got cancelled because driver could not make it. At least they could've called and said they couldn't give food to my kids. I asked them to make another pizza and I could pick it up and the person on the phone said they were closed even though Google listed them being open for another 1 hour! This is the worst place to get pizza. Do not recommend!"

"I'm cheap, I was looking for a delicious meal (for one) under 20 dollars. The staff was great the food was even better! My belly was very satisfied."

"Okay, so there are two Papa Romano's on Crooks in Troy and that can be confusing. Especially because this one is good, and the other one we have not had much luck with. We used to have a Papa Romanos near my house growing up, so I grew up with Bambino bread and deep dish pizza! When it closed, I was sad. This location is further away and does not deliver to our house. The other location is close to my husband's work, so we have purchased from there a couple of times and it is just not the same. I decided to write this review because most times when I go in to pick up, it is the same guys in there. I like that and I think they deserve to be recognized for creating superior pizzas to the location down the street. (At least from our experience) And to the lady who gave a one star review for not tipping. I'm sorry, I have to comment. Shame on you. If you can't afford a tip, then you should not be getting it delivered, period, not debatable. It is not the driver's fault you don't have the money. Make yourself a PB&J and wait until you can tip, or don't order. Props to that driver for her standing up to people like you. I hope her boss secretly gave her a high five. You are the problem, not her. PEOPLE, IF YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY TO TIP, THEN DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY, GO PICK IT UP YOURSELF - OR DON'T ORDER."

"Unfortunately my last experience was disappointing, embarrassing, disrespectful & just plan hurtful. I've been ordering from them, with delivery, every Friday for months & always gave a tip. As most people, my finances got a little bad for awhile even so...I still ordered my pizza. The last two times I ordered, I didn't have enough for a tip. The driver made it her Point to inform me that I haven't given her a tip the past two times she delivered to me. I explained that I didn't have tip money right now & if I did, I would have as I have done before. She continued to berate & argue with me about how much the pizza & delivery cost & if I had money for that, then I should have money for a tip. She explained that she makes her money through her tips & gas cost! All this in front of my patient. When I spoke to the manager about her behavior & how she spoke to me, he was apologetic & offered a free pizza. He explained that she was sent home but she will continue to work for the company. Even though the pizza has been good in the past. I can't & will not support any company that will allow their employees to talk to their customers that way. Nor did I want the free pizza. She cost them a regular customer & no referrals."
