"Food was delicious, waiter Tay was very personable and explained the menu option of cooking our steaks at the table. Will definitely return! There was a cold draft thru the whole place, otherwise I would give it 5 stars across the board."

"This is our Second time going to black rock in Woodhaven. The first visit was perfect, this time tonight was HORRIBLE! The waiter was very nice but did not know what he was doing. He forgot what drinks we ordered even though he seemed to be writing our order down, he also forgot our sauces and forgot to have the cook put cheese in my salad even after he recommended it. He also never told the cook that the steak was supposed to be cooked for my boyfriend and they brought it out raw. By the time they brought his steak out it was burnt and they brought the same sides out that they originally brought out and they were cold. We then told the manager about it and she was rude and made it seem like it was our fault for her waiter not doing what he was supposed to in the first place. They then replaced my boyfriend’s meal and the steak was half cooked/ half raw. The sides were still the original ones that were rewarmed. On top of that my boyfriend ordered kielbasa with his meal and they never brought it out until the manager got involved. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant."

"Great place to eat. Love their volcano shrimp. A little pricy for cooking your own food. It’s hard to screw it up. Staff has been good the times I have been there. Food tastes great, I wouldn’t get the French onion soup again. But everything else was good. I would go back."

"Got here right before prime time for dinner so there was plenty of seating and we were able to be helped right away. Our waitress did an amazing job and even as things started to pick up a little bit she was still able to be stay very attentive and made sure to get us everything we needed throughout the whole visit. Super cool place I had no idea what to expect but man am I glad I tried the place out! For sure recommend you check the place out if you haven’t I know I’ll be back!"
