"The food is amazing. The greens are ALWAYS top tier!!! I love the pork chops and chicken. Both are well always seasoned and perfectly fried. The Mac n cheese is not consistent. Sometimes fantastic, sometimes ok. Candied yams taste straight out of Alabama. (this is a good thing.)"

"Food is tasty, portion are good, price is reasonable, service has been great. Don't expect a lot of options or freshness close to closing. About an hour or more before is best. My husband and I have visited three times at different times. I haven't tried everything but as long as they don't get worse they are sufficient, better than Motor City price point and food about the same considering I don't want to cook and want soul food."

"Just tried for the first time, couldn’t get through on the phone so I drove up there. Service was good, the food prices are very fair, portions are nice and the flavors were really good, if I had one complaint I’d say the chicken wings could’ve used a little more seasoning but that’s just me nitpicking. I’ll 100% be back again. Pictured is chicken wings dinner with spaghetti and collard greens, and meatloaf lunch special with northern beans and Mac n cheese, also not pictured was a side of mashed potatoes which were seasoned nicely as well."

"The food was very tasty, well seasoned. Nice portions and very affordable. My husband and I got pork chops chicken wings Mac n cheese ( which could’ve been a bit better.) candied yams, and dressing. For dessert we had the peach cobbler. The kool aid was pretty good as well. Not too sweet. Customer service could improve a lil more as well. Other than that, it was a good experience and we would visit again."
