"Everything about this place reeks negative...from the time u walk in your spirit just drains as if a demonic presence is there just sucking all your energy and happiness away... "Raggedy bum ssa workers at Captain Jays on Middlebelt... How do you cancel an order that was made two days in advance. Just lazy and every worker is missing a tooth or teeth. Seem more like some Waffle House workers to me. I ordered from NuWayz in Romulus and they were on time and perfect customer service."
"It was my first time getting captain Jay's. I got the cod combo. Fries are amazing, fish was nicely cooked and I liked the coleslaw. I felt like their menu was a little confusing (at the drive thru). I got the fish with the lemon pepper seasoning, which had nice flavor but was so powdery on top of the fish that I don't think I could recommend it or get it again."
"This place is horrible , do not come here ! They make your food soggy, fries were soggy, wings are soggy , customer service is horrible and the workers are careless. You will be sick if you eat here !"
"Ordered a bunch of food. Some legs and thighs, some jumbo shrimp, some Mac n cheese, some jalapeño poppers and then a peach cobbler. The chicken was dry and the drumsticks looked like the chickens died of anorexia. And I saw the person take the Mac n cheese and the peach cobbler and put them in a microwave right in front of me. The Mac n cheese looked like it was a day or two old and the peach cobbler looked like a soggy nightmare. The jalapeño poppers were soggy on the inside like they were previously frozen. And the shrimp were mediocre with soggy breading. Food overall was terrible. Don't eat at a place that microwaves old food for you."
