Kyma Greek grill

"I simply wasn’t good in the any sense of the word. Went there with my boys and the flaming cheese wasn’t fully cooked, it was yesterday’s bread, the gyro meat wasn’t cut in nice strips but like chunks. Ranch wasn’t able to be identified as ranch, some homemade version. Hacked up lettuce with cheap feta, under ripe tomatoes and it came out with, not before my sandwich. I have no words for the roasted potatoes. We are here 3-4 months ago and it was fine. What happened you guys !? There menus weren’t centered and the graphics were a mess and different on each page. The black background wasn’t welcoming what so ever. I feel stupid for paying the bill and I hate writing super negative reviews but you are ripping me off with this nonsense and I’ve had enough."

"Went in on Saturday night around seven. Not crowded and the place looked really nice. They had some custom decorations on the north east wall that i had never seen anything like before. Service was spot on. Two things. The Kyma salad was amazing and served in cool bowl, also, the Veggie moussaka was fantastic. Still thinking about it three days later. With the way things are going in Greektown we are super happy to have this option right in the neighborhood."

"The comfiest booths and most pleasant (and giant) Spanakopita I ever experienced! ●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■● ⭐️ Their apps. are all absolutely delicious! I personally have had their Scordalia and fried artichoke apps. (which also comes with scordalia). Their veggie grape leaves are also warm and served with melt-in-your-mouth, soft feta, the crunchiest cucumber wedge and perfectly savory tomato wedge. Like the taste straight from farmer markets, you can taste the difference. The chefs know what they are serving -tastefully! ⭐️ Their meals are large, expect leftovers or to share with your tablemates unless you are absolutely starved. The spinach pie is a must try! For vegetarian however, ask to sub the rice pilaf (that has chicken broth). ⭐️ For dessert, Kyma is hard to pass. Expect sweet and delicate pinapple and spices flavor. Skip the diet, have a cheat, and get it! ⭐️Outside of food, the staff is always friebdly and professional. They are quick to correct errors, and are very fast! Wonderdful experiences the past three times now. ⭐️The restaurant is also very clean, very spacious, and the setting is a black and white interior with lots of chairs, but also booths on the side. High-chairs and boosters are provided! ●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■● Overall, a must go-to place! You will not be dissapointed! ●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■●■● For the restaurant: Lovely place, food, and staff, but if I may add: my only suggestion would be to consider changing their vegetarian moussaka. The sweet potato is not necessary and adds a unusual sweet taste that counters the tomato sauce."

"That was one of the best Gyro sandwiches I have had. The gyro and chicken Gyro were both really good. The fries! They are perfectly cooked! Lightly crispy, but soft on the inside. Staff was very friendly and service was also very good. We came early and were pretty much the only ones there. Fantastic meal and experience. I'm looking forward to the next visit."
