"J. Alexander's restaurant is an excellent place to eat for an upscale environment. We had beautiful scenery overlooking the wetland area. The food quality was excellent and I enjoyed every bite of my grilled salmon. The portions are larger for a high end restaurant. The service and staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is refined and warm. I did make a reservation and our party was seated right away."

"Today, I ordered a Caesar salad with added chicken and chicken pasta soup during my 30-minute lunch break. It was a quick visit. My receipt shows “75 Posapi,” which I’m unsure if it refers to my server. I ordered online and picked up my food smoothly. The staff was pleasant. However, when I returned to my car, I noticed there were no bread or crackers for my soup. I had to go back inside to request them, which was a bit frustrating. Later, at my office, I realized there was no silverware in my bag. I tried calling the restaurant at 2 PM, but no one answered, likely due to the lunch rush. Now, I have to find something to eat my lunch with. I find it unacceptable to pay $31 for a soup and salad to-go order, especially since I also left a tip, and not have everything I need to eat it. If I order again, I will not tip since proper service was not given."

"For a chain restaurant this place is definitely up there. The food is always fresh and off quality. The staff is amazing and the restaurant is very clean For starters the shrimp and queso dip are both good. Their burger is great and even better with bacon. However, I wasn’t a fan of the shoestring fries or their mac n cheese. For dessert I would definitely recommend their carrot cake, it is great. Overall for a chain this place is pretty good and I’d recommend it for a night out to eat."

"Really love the atmosphere at Northville location and great service. Drinks and Food is awesome! Omar's customer service is exceptional! We forgot to inform 'no salt' for our cocktail garnish and bartender was very courteous to re do the cocktail drink."

"Overall experience and service was great. Our Waiter Gavin was great and knowledgeable of of the menu items. I tried the Hawaiian Golden Snapper. This was my first time eating Couscous. The fish was cooked and seasoned well. The Rest Rooms were cleaned and in good condition as well"
