"UPDATE 1/2/24: I used to have a high opinion of this location, but have now received multiple call-ahead pickup orders with missing items. The food is good when they include everything. I’d recommend using DoorDash or another app because each time l’ve called to order, items (ie. Sassy Fries) are left off the order. WOW this Koren BBQ is amazing! I rarely give out 5 stars but Kimchi Box has earned it. I have never been disappointed with a meal ordered from here. I have only done take-out and the quality of food is always exceptional and always consistent. I’ve been here about 8 times. My favorites: Seoul Chicken Sandwich with Sassy Korean sauce, Sassy Fries, Spicy Pork Tacos, and the Bulgogi Box with Sassy Mayo. The portion sizes are large and filling - even the fries (which most places skimp on). Even their plain fries are the 2nd best I’ve ever had (1st best is from Sweetwater Tavern in Detroit)."

"Have been ordering the takeout for so long we stopped in for the table top BBQ and we had an awesome time! Food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. "This was amazingly delicious. The food was some of the best Korean food I have had. I've had a lot of Korean food, and this is easily in the top 3. I didn't try the KBBQ, I had their house made dishes, and each one was extremely delicious. I highly recommend to enjoy the soups on a cold Michigan day, and their kimchi rice. Their decor was beautiful and the restaurant is extremely clean."
