"Best sushi. Period. If you don’t believe me, go there at 17:00 when they open. There will be at least 30 people queuing. You will be waiting at least one hour. I went once at 20:00, one hour before closing. I had to wait 30 minutes... Words don’t do justice to how good the food is... Unfortunately, only take-out is available, no more dine-in. Quality of food didn't change"

"We have been going here for a few years. Simple menu but excellent quality. Our new routine is to visit One World Market for Japanese groceries and then Ajishin for lunch to take home once a month. They are very close to each other and about a 40 minute drive from the eastern end of Ann Arbor. Its a pleasant drive if you avoid the freeways and follow the backroads."

"I've been going here for nearly 10 years. The food is so delicious. I honestly think this is the best udon I've ever had, including when I lived in Japan. I am sad that we can't dine in anymore because it's relaxing to sit inside and enjoy the delicious food in the wonderful atmosphere. It did used to get crazy crowded though so I understand how take out can be better for them at this point. And even though you have to eat out of the take out boxes, the quality of the food is just as good."
