"Great experience!!! A million times better than Dearborn location! Much further drive but worth it 100%! The staff was so friendly! And I watched other tables as well to make sure it wasn't just our server who was awesome! Food was delicious, recommend the land and sea with added lobster tail. Kids ( 1 and special needs 6) had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this location! Thank you for giving light to this restaurant because we almost gave up on it after 5 extremely poor experiences at Dearborn. Restroom was also clean at this location! ONLY down part about this location is there is no ramp in front of doors so you have to walk quite a ways away from front doors with stroller/ wheel chair to find a ramp."

"We've stopped into Benihana for years for various family birthdays but never have given them a quality Google review. The Novi location is always busy in the evenings but has been excellent and consistent with the food quality. Usually, I like to get the Benihana Trio, but other dishes that I've seen come out look equally tasty. If you are new to this experience, do plan to spend a little time as the chef does a wonderful presentation as well as cooking the food, plus you also get appetizer miso onion soup and salad. It's certainly not cheap, but the portions are so large you'll definitely have leftovers!"

"Great chef (Andy) and server (Michael). Wasn't a fan of having to wait 35 minutes past our reservation to be seated, but in the end it was worth the wait. Lots of fun, tricks, and singing by Andy. Michael was very attentive and quick. Definitely will be back, just be prepared to wait past your reservation time."
