"on instagram it seems that everything is perfect, but in real life it is not so. I have been a student in the first semester and we hardly did any activities, they have always skipped the schedule of activities. We had a few times when they didn't open the climbing or zip line activities as the Staff members were cold. We also could not leave the school on weekends so we all stayed in the lobby, a room with sofas. We went to Walmart some weeks, but we were separated into boys and girls so we couldn't go as often as we needed to. One option to go to Walmart was to go to church on Sunday and then they would take you shopping. Regarding the separation between boys and girls, we couldn't play sports together, we couldn't give hugs. I had times when a friend of mine was crying and they came to separate you or even saying goodbye to my best friend, they gave me 6 demerits for hugging her. There are no extracurricular activities, the only good thing there is and the only experience I have taken with me, have been the students, they have been the best thing that has happened to me and I am grateful to have been able to meet them. In December, I had anxiety and the school did nothing. Two days before going back to Spain for Christmas, my parents told me that the school would not accept me for the second semester because I had been sad, because I was not happy and I had to leave. The school was not able to address me, they never gave me the camera. I tried to talk to them after I left to come back and that I wanted to be with my friends but they didn't care. There are many more situations that I have not explained, such as staff comments to students, the treatment of some workers. The teachers were the only ones who were respectful with us. I feel disappointed with the treatment we have received from them, and my advice is that if you have to go there, change schools because their main concern is going to be money rather than the happiness of the students."
"After being recently informed, I realized that they failed to give AP credit to my friend after implying she was taking an AP world history class. That is due to the teacher not having the certification, which they didn’t inform her until the second semester. She also encountered this problem with AP statistics, although she was studying an AP statistics book. They certainly advertised an enchanting list of AP courses, but chemistry was the only real class. However, the teacher was not able to get through the complete course and recommended the students to take their AP chem test next year. Lastly, the administration spontaneously decided to adjust their graduation date to May 10th instead of June 4th (and NOT compensating the full amount of money needed for flight changes). I would like to give credit to a junior at this school who attempted to post an anonymous review under an alias to warn potential students. Because the name was fake, it was forcibly removed. Please, stay away from this place. I wouldn’t even call it a school, maybe a halfway house or group home."
