"My daughter has been at Eco for almost 2 years. She started around 6 months old. I didn't feel comfortable during my tour of other daycares. This felt much more like a school for babies, and it is! My almost 2.5 year old speaks in sentences, is fully potty trained, knows her shapes, colors, Abc's, numbers, and much more. She is very cared for and we love Eco!"
"Our daughter has been at Eco for about a year and a half and we absolutely LOVE it there! Putting your child in daycare is one of the scariest things you can do; however, the staff at Eco have made the last 1.5 years so stress free and easy for us. Sandra and her staff worked closely with us when we first started to ensure the transition for our child was as easy as possible. Sandra has been so accommodating when we needed extra days added, which has been so helpful. Our child is excited to go to "school" every day, runs to give her teachers hugs, and is always happy when we pick her up. We love how the children are encouraged to play messy and be independent. We also love the communication between Sandra, staff, and us as parents and enjoy the pictures we get daily showing what the children had done that day. As a parent, I feel my daughter is safe (physically, mentally, and emotionally), loved, and cared for while she is in Eco's care!"
"I have had my daughter here for almost a year. And I can say this school is by far the best one I've ever had her in. The teachers are always so welcoming, and kind very kid oriented. My daughter loves being here, they are constantly doing new things. And very accommodating. I would recommend this school to anyone who has kids. And Sandra is amazing! Very sweet and understanding and always has a smile. My daughter comes home and talks about how all the teachers play with her and teaching her new things and begs to go back"
"Run, don’t walk! Quite honestly the WORST daycare I have ever dealt with. Not only the most expensive in town, (and raising their prices by the way) also the rudest. Sandra plays it sweet the first time you tour the daycare, but the minute you start paying money the true colors come out. She sent me the most horrendous email I’ve ever seen, claiming I cannot pick my child up late for care or they refuse him, when it clearly states in their policy they have a late fee if you’re late. According to her, the staff have lives other obligations after work and can’t stay late for my child even if I did pay late. $2 per minute late by the way!!! Let’s not even start with how my kid was STARVING the for first several weeks of care until the owner brought it to my attention that he can have seconds…. When I brought extra food in for my child Sandra said they could not feed it to him because it’s grapes and they don’t have enough staff to cut them. There not enough staff to cut a cup of grapes for my kid that you don’t give enough food to??? What a joke! For someone who pays well over $350 a week, you’d think they’d spare a few diapers. No…. I was called three times in a work day because he was out of diapers, but nobody bothered to communicate that to me in their reports. I guess they think I’m a mind reader, flattering…. Sandra emailed me last week again threatening not to let my child in for care if I didn’t turn in his health appraisal. She told me when I first brought him in she would remind me closer to the time they needed it. A one week notice for a mother who works 40 hours a week, I guess she expected me to wave a magic wand to get any pediatrician to see my child the same week. Pretty much impossible! Last week, Heather send a late fee for me and demanded payment the same day or again was threatening not to accept my child for care. It’s always a threat with these people. And they want the money the millisecond they bill you. Well the bill was attached to this entire weeks invoice and she said she couldn’t separate it. So I have to pay for a week in which they won’t accept him due to the health appraisal that I had no time to obtain…. Now I am requesting a refund which I’m sure they will take 6 hours getting back to me on so they can milk me for this entire day. Do not bring your kids here, they’re horrendous. And Suzanne is even worse, she lies and doesn’t relay strait communication. Definitely filing a complaint with the state of Michigan at this point. They are the only daycare in town that isn’t full, and there’s a good reason for that."
