"I really wanted to love this place. The menu was awesome, the place looked up to date and trendy, butttttt, the food was just not good. It is paid parking (on the street, but not on Sunday). My girlfriends and I had a reservation for right when they opened, got us seated right away, but our table had a weird wooden architectural feature next to it which made it hard to get in one of the seats. Our server was super nice and charismatic, but he told us he’s typically a bartender which explains why he forgot to put our order in and it took over an hour to get our food. Which also wasn’t too big of a deal since my girls and I were catching up after not seeing each other for months! Now the food, I got the Bananas Foster French Toast, it was not what I expected at all. It was dry and pretty flavorless. I expected a sugar explosion, but nope, bland, not enough sauce or sugar. I got a side of bacon and it was the fatty chewy kind, yuck. My friend got the chicken and waffles and said it tasted like jerky, but the waffle was good. Other friend got the Country Skillet and said it was good and not spicy at all, which she was happy about. The other friend got fried chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese, which she said was great, said the Mac and cheese was very cheesy. The atmosphere was really cool and we saw an Amtrak train go by, but honestly, super bummed the food didn’t live up to my expectations."
"First time trying this place and my overall impressions were these: food great, service meh and atmosphere beautiful ! Food: I ordered the etoffée which was nice and had good flavor. My partner ordered Cajun pasta which they said was very good. Creamy, seasoned well. Service: we were seated immediately on a Saturday night and our food came out fast. The waitress was not as attentive as you would want for a 25% tip and left dirty plates on our table Atmosphere: beautiful exposed brick and wood plank tables."
"Nice location and good quality food, menu needs a few more dishes looking at the menu feels like there's something missing but one thing for sure I'll say pay attention to your receipt gratuity is automatically added to your total after you give your card to pay. The drinks lmao will have you throwing a dart blindfolded to see what you would like. Everything is unique at this place just feels like there could be more definitely a place to keep figuring out what that may be, check it ou."
"Our waitress was very pleasant and staff was very helpful! I like the setting as well, pleasant place to enjoy a meal and a cocktail. The citrus vinaigrette is pretty good, the ranch is homemade and excellent! I liked the mixed green salad. The salmon was hard / overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. I would give the salmon itself a 2/5. The lemon sauce was good, but the fish tasted otherwise completely unseasoned and kind of bland. The mashed potatoes were pretty good. I was not at all impressed with the macaroni and cheese. The french fries are very good though, and my friend enjoyed the steak."
