"The baba ghanoush has a nice strong smoky roasted eggplant flavor, with just the right amount of lemon and other flavoring, in my opinion. It's a basic, simple dish, but many restaurants don't do it well."
"Calling all vegans and vegetarians!! This little spot has the most delicious, warm and toasty pita wrap! The eggplant b harr pita + baba ghannuj have my heart! The perfect place to stop by for a quick and hearty lunch. Great prices, great flavor and super fast."
"The best Middle Eastern food in Ann Arbor!! It’s reasonably priced, and so so good. I get the eggplant b-harr pita every time and it’s always wonderful. One of the best things I’ve had in my life!"
"Got a chicken schwarama pita and it was so incredibly bland. Didn't know there would be fries in it which wouldn't be an issue if they seasoned the fries at all. Garlic paste didn't have any flavor (no idea how this is even possible). If it wasn't for the pickles this would taste like cardboard because of how bland it all is."
"Went to Pita Kabob Grill by chance one day when some friends and I had been hanging out on the Diag. Its location was super convenient, but it's easy to see how you could miss it if you weren't looking for it! From the moment we walked in, the experience was great, the staff was very chill, patient and helpful as we tried to make our selections from their menu. They've got a very diverse menu and there's something for basically everyone. Among my friend group we had people who were Vegan and people who were on Low Carb diets and we all found things to eat pretty easily. There's not a ton of indoor seating as the restaurant is pretty small, but it's adequate for what it is, and there are a couple of tables with chairs outside. Once you've ordered, the food arrives fairly quickly too. Overall the food tastes great, it's a good value, and it's close to campus! Low Carb/ Keto folks: There are tons of options for you here, but they are rice heavy, so ask for a substitute or get a larger dish to compensate. Personally I ordered the Mixed Kabob plate, and it was plenty of food especially since you can get a soup or salad as a side (Be forewarned, the Chicken Curry soup has rice in it!!)"
