King Pot Korean Bbq & Hot Pot

"Love going to the King pot! Very affordable and great service. This is now the second time going. First time we tired the bbq and this time we did the hot pot! Both choices make for a great meal. Lunch or dinner you get the same great service. Ask for the server Tony as he is very knowledgeable about what to try."

"It getting ridiculous on the amount of food that you order. I understand it's all you can eat and you can reorder as much as you want to but please do not cut the meat like this. It's not only thin but also a very small piece. You can't cook beef tongue without it turning into an even smaller piece and having no taste because it's way too ridiculously tiny. Also, our waitress barely checked on our table, so we ended up asking another waitress to get more food. Spent almost 2hrs just waiting for our waitress to check in so we could order more food. She only checked our table once after the first round of orders. It was after an hour when she passed by and we called her up to order food, and another one was giving us the check and that is, we had to ask another waitress to put in our order. Caught her standing at the counter and having a conversation with others instead of checking her table. She needs to be retrained because I don’t like sitting there and waiting forever for someone to come to take my order and expect to get a tip. It’s the only hot pot place around Grand Rapids but would not recommend anyone if you could go further for a better place."

"It really wasn't my cup of tea but it wasn't bad either. I didn't care for the sauce options. The meat selection was good and flavorful. I had the bulgogi chicken and beef. Biggest negative was the dirty grill when we sat down but they quickly reseated us at a clean table."

"Did the hot pot and BBQ and it was AMAZING. Definitely bring an appetite because that food keeps coming! There were so many interesting meats and vegetable options, and nice sides. My group has allergies and it was pretty easy to order around that without feeling like we were getting less. Truly a wonderful experience!"

"My wife and I love going to Korean Barbecue and Hot Pot restaurants. They are always such a good time and you can make the food right at your table. The food here was seasoned great! We especially liked the short ribs and the pork belly options! We wished they brought more veggies when we asked for them. They gave us two mushrooms and 3 slices of zucchini. We would have liked a bowl of each. Other than that the food service was good. Our waitress seemed a little unenthusiastic and forgot our selections once, but was friendly. I would come here again for sure and they have tables big enough for large groups!"
