"What a little gem of a spot! We have driven past Frida's Cantina on our way to places dozens of times but have not stopped before. This time we went specifically to eat dinner. The restaurant is charming. It's decorated really cute with the beautiful mural and colorful pillows. The service was great and friendly. But let's talk about the food. They bring chips and salsa right away like many Mexican restaurants. But the chips were fresh and crisp and truly delicious. The salsa was a perfect medium, with great flavor. Then came dinner. Oh my gosh. I had a piece of elote, it was perfectly seasoned, and then I had the Biria tacos. The dinner comes with two tacos beans and rice. The tacos were so full of meat, they early could have been two tacos each. The flavor was great. They were so good. My husband had the molcajete de bistec. That thing came out bubbly hot like the fires of hell and smelling like heaven! The meat and veggies were cooked to perfection. There was a smokey flavor that I assume came from the lava bowl thing. And it was enough for two meals easily. He had beans and rice and lettuce on the side, as well as tortillas. The drinks were nice and strong. I had a mojito and my husband had a beer. I highly recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable you will love the food and friendly staff. Trust me, don't just drive by on your way to other places, this is your destination"

"Amy was our server tonight, while also tending the bar and cranking drinks out for the whole restaurant, including a rehearsal dinner of 60 people! She never missed a beat, and the drinks she made were amazing. Food was great too! The chips and salsa were so fresh!! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back!!"
