"I have been volunteering there during the past two years and have been really impressed by how much the kids go out of their way to help each other. The teachers seem like mature educators - confident, professional. The administration also seems really invested in making sure that the students are getting the best education possible. I have seen them make two savvy changes in the past few years that were based on strong educational research (moving school start times back and making all-girls and all-boys classrooms at the middle school level). They also seem to do a good job of identifying local resources and partner organizations, and have a wide variety of extracurriculars."
"I'm only giving this 1 star so I can comment. Worst school ever. First of all let me start by saying my daughter's classroom has a community glue sponge. (let that sink in for a minute) they can't afford glue? Really people we the parents shouldn't have to foot the bill (taxes duh, like you're tax funded!!) That school is: -Horribly Funded -Horribly ran -Horribly disorganized -Horribly maintained The secretary is very unprofessional, and dishonest, she's counts my daughter absent and unexcused all the time Her absences were tripled on paper!! (Meaning, she only missed a third of the days in actuality) Honestly I grew up in Flint Michigan and that's really sad when you are worse than Flint. *People in this district if you Can avoid it DO NOT send your child there. If you value education and strive excellence this school will disappoint you over and over again* They will be losing my daughter as a student, they're so pathetic its not worth trying to fix."
"Awesome School! My 2nd grader loves it here. Really good before/after school programs also"
