Maple Tree Montessori Academy, located in Brighton, Michigan, is a primary school dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating educational opportunity for children of all backgrounds. Founded in 2003 by Patricia Sue Cherry, our school offers authentic Montessori programs for children from 12 months through 8th grade.
Our school is registered with the Michigan Department of Education and affiliated with The American Montessori Society, The Michigan Montessori Society, and The Livingston County 4c Council. Our teachers are also affiliated with respected Montessori organizations.
At Maple Tree Montessori Academy, we believe in creating a peaceful and loving environment where children can flourish. Our preschool programs follow Dr. Maria Montessori's recommendations, and we offer optional full-day Kindergarten and Summer Camp. Our before and after class daycare program provides a consistent and caring environment for our students.
We continue the Montessori Curriculum into the Elementary grades, offering Lower and Upper Elementary classes. As Maria Montessori believed, we see the hope of the future in the child and strive to provide an education that encourages holistic growth.
