"It's your typical bar/restaurant. Foods above average tho. The server was really nice and the kid liked his food. I only got an appetizer but I love potatoe skins. If your driving by stop and give them a try :)"
"Today was our first visit to The Barn Door Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The outside is very unassuming, almost neglected even. The inside is what you'd expect from a small hole-in-the-wall place, accompanied by its usual list of "could use improvement" tidbits (better lighting in the restrooms, cleaner, etc). The appetizer was mac and cheese wedges, which was quite good to start. I ordered a double cheeseburger and I must say, it exceeded my expectations up to that point. You can tell this is locally sourced quality beef. It was tender and flavorful despite the patties being thick and cooked completely through. The bun was also locally sourced and was delicious. The toppings were fresh, tasty and crisp. Their french fries stole the show. Top tier quality. Super crispy exterior, tender and perfectly cooked interior. My wife ordered a hot beef sandwich and she was equally pleased with that. I'm happy to say we will be putting this establishment on our list for earned return visits."
"You're not going here for a gourmet dinner, but the bar food and portions were good. Nothing fancy, had the homemade house chips ("flips") and hot roast beef dinner which were both fine, but nothing unexpected, for better or worse! Solid choice for a decent meal at a fair price."
"We had a really good time. Our service was friendly. We got our food fairly quick considering they were busy. It was a little hard to hear each other but again they were busy. I got a bloody mary and it was amazing! Our food was awesome! We will be back."
"Decent selection of beer on tap, I had the Green Zebra gose, which is a great choice if you like a sour beer. They also have a pretty wide selection of canned and bottled products as well. The pretzel sticks and beer cheese were fantastic. The server Morgan was friendly. Prices were fairly reasonable. I would recommend this place to others."
