Country Kettle Cafe

"I've been living in Nashville for almost 18 years. I have always loved Country Kettle. It is a wonderful place. It nice to walk into a restaurant and everyone knows you. You're never walk out of the restaurant hungry. The waitress and waiters are wonderful. I will admit it could use a little change. But their food is very good and affordable."

"I honestly don't understand how this place has 4.4 stars. Super disappointed. The only person we noticed with good personable skills was the (estimated to be) 15 year old girl who initially brought our drinks. The food was disgusting. My rodeo burger was SMOTHERED in BBQ sauce, they probably put so much because they knew the burger was completely dried out. So much sauce they had to bring me an extra plate and extra napkins. Kid got chicken tenders and they were way overcooked, he must've ate like four bites. The fries were over done and I could've gotten past that but the ketchup itself was disgusting as well. The mustard bottle obviously either doesn't get used much or isn't cleaned often because it wouldn't come out at all because it was so crusted on the top. When they came to bring me a drink refill the lady spilled it all over the table, including all over my purse. Instead of being apologetic, her and our waitress laughed uncontrollably, felt like they did it intentionally. Would NEVER go back and would definitely not recommend."

"Had small biscuits & gravy with side of hash browns. It was the best I've had on this trip. Waitress was really nice & we got our food really fast. Will definitely eat there again if I'm in the area."

"This was our first time at a very established business in a tiny little town. I had pecan pancakes and should have only said one as they were huge. Very good and they put a big bottle of syrup out so you don't have keep asking for syrup. Husband had the farmers omelet that was real good, his had alot of onions and sausage and a flavorful cheese. Both breakfast were so large we took some home. We look forward to going back."
