"10+ years ago, I was coming back from a trip with some friends and we tried to stop here for food but it was too close to closing time for me to push the staff. Instead we drove further into GR and forgot all about it until this weekend, where I found myself sorta lost on those roads less traveled, and found the Clifford Lake Inn. Coming in from the cold, the place welcomes with a warm cozy little bar and live music that was enjoyable. The atmosphere was easygoing and the place a true classic that earned its patina. Bartender was friendly to this stranger and recommended the fish & chips which was delicious. I love finding places like this. Recommended!!!"

"First off they gave us the wine menu and they were out of the first three bottles. Let ft us down to one choice everybody else was getting rolls when I asked she said they didn't have any that she said it was too late. Our waitress Kailey??? was ok but didn't provide rolls not good inventory of wine. We will definitely come back but hopefully they will have everything next time."

"Very nice place right on the lake. Food is always good. The wife and I go at least a couple times a year, especially in the summer when you can sit out on the deck."

"It's quite stuffy in there and on the bar side it's more laid back, but we waited almost 10 minutes for our waitress and then almost another 10 minutes for our drinks. Never got to try the food because it was taking too long. They weren't even that busy for us to be ignored. Maybe next time we'll get to try the food, if we go back."

"Beautiful spot on the deck.. on the lake. View is awesome, food is excellent and the service is great! There was live music while we were there, very nice."
