"I took my son to the walk in clinic today, and the nurse practioner Rebbekkah C. Marasco was horrible. She came in, looked at my son for maybe a minute, dismissed my concerns about him having a sinus or ear infection and automatically decided she wanted to test for influenza A. After that came back negative then she decided she wanted to test for strep. That came back negative and when it did she came in and sat down and asked what I thought. Excuse me, didn't you go to school for this? Why is a Nurse Practioner asking me what I think when I already told her what I thought and she dismissed it the first time. So then she decides to go ahead and treat him for a sinus infection. Total time actually examining and being around my son, maybe 2 minutes and 30 seconds. If this is the quality of professionals Bell Hospital is ok with employing then ill gladly drive my family somewhere else to be seen. I guess on a positive note, the receptionist and medical assistants were great, but the NP I dealt with today is a joke."

"12-24-23 my daughter went in for what looked like symptoms for something more severe than a common cold. After a 2 hour wait, was quickly seen and casually dismissed with "we don't treat cold symptoms" and "the color of your mucus isn't that important" (as she coughs up green gunk tinged with a little blood), released with a "take two aspirin and don't call me in the morning" attitude. 12-25-23 symptoms accelerated, brought to the ER. Daughter as early onset of strep throat, an upper respiratory infection. Prescribed and released with some samples of antibiotics since no pharmacies were open. She paid cash out of pocket and will probably never get that money back. This is written as a warning for others. Mistakes can be made for sure but she was basically dismissed as a cold and railroaded through. Very bad practice, I'm sure her co workers would not appreciate her bringing strep to work and getting others sick. This was incompetent."

"My experience with UP Health System Bell Family Medicine has been the worst I've every experienced. I needed a referral for a procedure to be done. It took 13 days for my PAC Doctor to put in the referral after calling and talking to 4 different staff members. His nurse lied to me once again. I also had a test completed and it took almost 3 weeks to get the results. This test was completed in the same building as the Doctor and still waited almost 3 weeks. I have major depression and anxiety issues, because I have stage 4 cancer and a heart problem. I'm fighting hard everyday to keep a positive attitude. But with issues with the Doctor and staff members makes it hard to keep positive. Sure the Doctor says if you have any questions to call. You can never get a hold of him. When you finally get a hold of someone like the nurse. They tell you, you have to make an appointment. My life has been shorten already from people not doing things in a timely manner. I can't do this anymore. I can't win..."
