"Food was gross, very dry, like it had been set under heat lamps for hours, and then microwaved. Our service was meh, due to no fault of their own they were very understaffed, leaving the staff that did work spread very thing and unable to perform their jobs as normal. Waited for 45 minutes, food came out, took one bite, and advised our server we would not be staying or paying for the meals. Upon paying for our beverages, a staff member advised my significant other that the reason for all the issues is because there is poor management on Saturdays. Hope they can get it together"
"We had dined at the location in E Lansing and were looking forward to trying the Grand Rapids location. They did not disappoint. I had the pulled pork and macaroni and cheese, he had the BBQ Chicken and macaroni and cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor was spot on. Our server Kelsey was positively delightful! Very attentive, efficient and helpful with getting exactly what we wanted."
"I had not been to a Smokey Bones in years. It was good overall. I prefer the presentation of the cornbread being in the skillet. The noodles on the bottom of the macaroni cheese were lacking cheese. Analese was great, and the other server working in the same area did an amazing job supporting her by assisting us when he could as well."
"Very tasty food, great service. Shared these two items with five others, plus a few sides of fried pickles, and we all left satisfied."
"We'll not go back The chili bowl was a good serving and had taste. No ceasar dressing. The fries were so dry they could not be eaten. How much was that side? The slaw side container was full. And it was tasteless. We fixed it, so that didn't get thrown out. How much was that side? The beans tasted amazing. All three tablespoons … How much was that side? The broccoli side was also a half-filled container with a few pieces on top having some black powdery substance. As unlikely as it seems, that looked like mold. How much was that side? We did get sour cream, and it didn't go with anything in the order. The portion of ribs was pretty large. And dry enough that any two adjacent ribs had to be twisted apart, real hard. Steamed them for 15 minutes, poured on our BBQ sauce, broiled til just caramelized. How much were those ribs, that we made right? It used to be before I left from carry-out, I only had to check the bag for all items. Now I gotta check the containers for portions paid for. Or for inedibles. How much was that meal? $38.52 We'll not go back."
