Mr. and Mrs. Crab - Grand Rapids

"Went out with the husband and decided to try some place new. Mr, and Mrs, Crab was our pick. I love the look of the building inside and out. Lots to look at, and a fun atmosphere. Even though it was a Friday night and they were fairly busy at 8:30 we were seated right away. Although I will say I wasn't thrilled with the seat. We were put in a corner where there were quite a few high chairs piled up. That wasn't a very nice atmosphere. We were served quickly, but I do wish that we had been given more information since we had never been there before. Anyway, the food was messy good, arrived fast, and we both left full and happy. Now that we know how the place works we'll be better able to order the proper amount, and we will definitely be going back!"

"My husband and I both got the build your own boil. I got crab legs and scallops. I’ll say the seafood was very fresh and sweet tasting. But they literally killed it with the salty spices. I got the mild Cajun. But it was hard to taste the seafood because of the extra heavy seasoning. The restaurant is very dim making the menu nearly impossible to read. It would also be nice if they offered a bit more vegetables,. one small potato, and a 2 inch piece of corn on the cob paired with a pound of seafood and a bucket of salt is not a great combo. Even if they could throw in some rice or cornbread it would be great."

"First time to this restaurant. When we walked in we we’re not seated right away. We waited about 15 minutes before they sat at a table, where we sat for another 10 minutes before we got waited on. The waiter was very friendly to order quickly probably waited another 10 minutes for the food to be served to us came out hot and fresh. ordered the seafood boil with half pound of crab legs, shrimp, head off and sausage. It came with two potatoes two small pieces of corn. I ordered the mr. and Mrs. crab special spices in the heat level was hot. Wish the seasoning had more flavor to it, but it was still good. Overall, it was just an OK experience."

"I was fortunate to stop by this awesome seafood boil restraunt during my Valentine’s 4 day flying sequence Feb. 2023. The food was incredible. Awesome quality, optionz n everything was so fresh, tasty and the portions served was well worth the price. I definitely treated myself n can't wait to return next time I get a trip here."

"This was the best experience and food I’ve ever had. I’ve wanted seafood boil for years and this was the best place I could have chosen to try it. Everything I imagined and more. Amazing amazing flavorful food cooked just perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful and the theme/decorations inside the restaurant was amazing!! I’ve never been so happy while having dinner. I will 1000% be back. Highly recommend!!!! Thank you to the great workers there."
