Reviews of The Omelette Shoppe
"Great service. Great food. Coffee is amazing. We always get the French press and every time it's delicious . Food is always fresh and never changes. The sourdough bread has the best flavor. Only place my husband will order biscuits and gravy. My daughter started getting the kids grilled cheese and adds ham and she loves it. I was asked to update my review and no change this place is good every time."
"We visited this restaurant on Sunday 1/28. The food was fantastic. It was well prepared and it was presented very well. They have so many options. The service was fantastic. We had a waitress that was very pleasant, friendly and speedy. She did a very good job. However, the manager or shift leader made the entire experience terrible. At one point, this individual gathered up all of the wait staff and began to berate them out loud. The entire restaurant could hear the conversation. The manager kept droning on about how the waitresses need to be faster and to do less talking. It was really unprofessional. You could visibly see the frustration on the wait staff. It doesn't matter what conversation needs to be had, as a manager, you should be doing that in private or at least in an area to where customers cannot openly hear everything. It really ruined the experience. I might return, but if that's how management views the customers and their workers, I'll find another breakfast restaurant to eat at."
"This was me and my fiancé‘s first time going here. We’ve heard good things about this place and decided to try it. We did a pickup and wasnt far from the place (5 minutes). The atmosphere of the place was really nice, cute little Diner feel and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a meat lovers scramble with a side of French toast. My fiancé ordered the farmers omelette. He added pork sausage and got a side of a waffle, and we both got a cinnamon roll, warmed. When we got the food and got back to our place, it seems like it was sitting there for a little bit because the cheese was not melted. It looked just like it was just unmelted on my meat lover scramble, and my fiancé’s omelette cheese was was partially melted and partially not melted. Our cinnamon rolls were not warmed, but that’s fine we can warm that ourselves. The French toast and the waffles both taste like cake. The french toast didn’t taste like French toast for me, and the waffles literally tasted like cake. It was like a thick type of waffle too and no crisp to it. When I mixed and heated up my meat lover scramble, most of my Redskin potatoes were not cooked and if they were cooked, they weren’t cooked long enough because they were hard to bite into which is not ok. Fiancé said that the sausages weren’t the best and they were undercooked, and wish they were cut a little bit better. They also had a weird after taste to them. After heating up the cinnamon roll, they were very dry and a little tasteless, didn’t have that good flavor that a cinnamon roll usually has, the frosting was ok but it didn’t do it any justice at all."
"This food was 125% worth the wait! It’s been over 8 hours & I’m still full. Our waitress was super sweet & relatively quick even though they were jam packed"
"Great list of menu options. I loved that there were so many comfort foods to choose from, but also some interesting different options. This was my second time there. The portions are large. My french toast came with multiple pieces of french toast, two eggs, and bacon. Not sure what they do to the bacon, but it is delicious. My companion had the eggs benedict and it was also delicious. A hot tea was interesting. I enjoyed the flavor but I think it might have been a little pricey for what I was looking for. I also ordered the pecan roll.. It was loaded with pecans, and I really liked it. Last time I had the cinnamon roll and I didn't enjoy it as much as the pecan roll. The servers are very friendly. And there is ample parking. I parked in the free lot just a short walk down the street."
