"A cozy restaurant with small town charm! We were immediately greeted at the door with smiling faces and the service was amazing from start to finish. The food tasted fresh and came out quickly, piping hot! Be sure to get the Bali Bali beef!! All of it was excellent and we will be back!"

"This is truly the best Asian restaurant I have been to! I got their dine in special and I was expecting it to be a smaller portion but no, the plate of food was huge! When I first came in I didn't know what to order so I just decided I was in the mood for soup and some Lo Mein and a couple of Crab Rangoons and an Egg Roll. The First thing I was offered was tea. It was a very traditional tea and was unsweetened, but they provided sugar so I added one packet and it was fine. They also left me a tea kettle so they didn't have to come back to pour more tea. The Egg Drop Soup was full of rich flavors and made me feel at ease. The flavor just melts in your mouth and there was a light, not overwhelming egg taste. The Lo Mein was so delicious! I got the Vegetable Lo Mein was flavorful and loaded with baby corn, beans, carrots, mushrooms, and a couple of other vegetables. The sauce was flavorful but there wasn't an overwhelming amount of it, which is good in my opinion. The Crab Rangoon and the Egg Roll were excellent! The cheese was just right and I didn't taste a fishy seafood flavor. The staff were patient, friendly, and overall great! They came back a few times to check on me, but they didn't come back too often or too little. It was just the right amount of service. Atmosphere was great! The music was loud enough to hear it and I loved all of the natural light! They even have some plugs to charge devices. They give you an option to use chopsticks as well. Overall great atmosphere! Overall, if you are looking for an affordable yet very good place to eat Asian food, this is the place! Update: I recently have gone back and the food is still very delicious and the atmosphere is still great! Also the staff are very friendly!"

"Food: you have Chinese-American restaurants in every town, but you rarely have really good ones. Gaslight is one of the really good ones. The dumplings were not only great, but seem like such a rarity these days. Orange chicken came recommended so we gave that a try along with tofi vegetable stir fry. Not disappointed, orange sauce was amazing with a very deep citrus flavor and even little bits of peel in it was almost like candy. Vegetables in the stir fry were perfectly cooked, still having some crunchiness and not the typical mush. Service was very good, but a little odd for dining in. They gave us menus, let us pick our seats, but then had us come up to the bar to order. We later found out it was due to a constant lack of staff. Everyone was very nice, food came out fairly quickly with a perfect pause between our appetizers and mains. The inside is a little sparse. Straight back wooden chairs. Once people started filling the place it got a bit loud."

"Not copy & paste Asian food. More authentic recipes and ingredients than you'll find at Americanized places. I had the variety appetizer (for 2), and some of the items were a bit dry, almost like they sat out. The beef and shrimp cakes were delicious though. Very nice staff that seem like a close family."

"Absolutely great. Unfortunately, we have struggled to find a high quality Chinese restaurant anywhere in the area. Using google maps to track down this establishment; it was fantastic. The owner spent time with us conversing and even showed us the proper way to roll mushu pork, in the pancake, with plum sauce. Everything was fresh and high quality. Service was excellent. We even laughed that restroom could be in a hospital; which says a lot about how a business is managed. I hope the best for Mr. Ly. The pride of ownership and attention to quality was evident. We will be back; worth the drive from Grand Haven."
