"My wife brought in our Australian Shepherd to have her over coat trimmed up. When we got her back, she was shaved to her under coat. We shouldn't have needed to explain to a groomer that Aussies are double coated dogs, not poodles. Shearing off their overcoat is detrimental to their ability to stay cool in the summer."
