RIKA’S CHICKEN & MORE

"Not from the area and was referred to Rikas by someone at the hotel we were staying at in N Walker. It’s off the beaten path so we never would have known about it without the reference. We left the hotel shortly after hearing about it and got there around 11pm. It appears to be a black owned business and has a soul food vibe. Fried gizzards, okra, etc. we ordered perch with fried cauliflower and strips with fries. The food was the $h1t! Seasoned expertly and fried perfectly. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a trip to Grand Rapids. Will be returning again whenever we are in the area. Thanks again to everyone who prepared our food tonight!"

"Rika’s Chicken & More: A Grand Rapids Gem!" Took a culinary detour to Rika’s Chicken and More on Coit Ave NE, Grand Rapids, and boy, am I glad we did! The wings were perfectly fried to a dark golden crisp and the fries had this smoky flavor that lingered delightfully. Service was the cherry on top - incredibly warm and welcoming. The only hiccup was that many food items were sold out. But that just gives us a reason to come back soon! If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out."

"I called in an order and it was ready 25 minutes later. We got chicken tenders, wing dings, mozzarella sticks, and large fry. The chicken tenders were huge and juicy. The wing dings were large and had great breading. Everything was very good! The sauces (hot sauce, garlic parm, and sweet chili) were phenomenal! I want to try them all."
