At Journey, we blend the best of the old and the new – combining the community feel of a one-room schoolhouse with modern technology and organizational design. Our learners engage in hands-on projects and utilize world-class technology to develop real-life skills at their own pace.
We believe that young people are capable of achieving much more than traditional schools often expect of them. By empowering learners to set and achieve personal learning goals, they take ownership of their education, challenge themselves, and cultivate internal drive.
Our students have the freedom to learn at their own pace, allowing them to excel in their strengths and thoroughly understand areas where they need more time. They demonstrate their mastery through earning badges, creating portfolios, and presenting their work in public exhibitions.
At Journey, we encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovation by exploring real-world challenges and fostering a growth mindset. We follow the example of the ultimate hero, Jesus, centering our practices around Him while welcoming others to join us on their learning journeys.
