I seriously belive this is the best country fried steak and Gravy I have ever had!! Anytime we're in town we always make sure we stop by Shakers for atleast one meal."

"Best breakfast around! We've been coming here for so many years. The cinnamon swirl pancakes, home made cinnamon bread and sausage gravy are the best! Service is always great. My only complaint is they like to keep it really cold. So bring a coat."

"Stopped in at this restaurant on our way through Houghton as it looked like a good family style place. Interior is decorated very nicely in a homestyle country theme with lots of wood, and it’s nicely decorated right now for Christmas. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. I had the broasted chicken dinner, and the perch is what my wife had. Both meals were very delicious."
