"You must get the Brussel Sprouts, enough for 3-4 people! Service can be slow at peak times but friendly. My vodka drink was weak. The food was served hot and was delicious. They'll let you substitute turkey insted of corned beef for the Reuben. The menu has something for everyone. The atmosphere of the inside is dated and could use updating. The outside of the Lodge was beautifully decorated with fall items."
"Very beautiful setting and a calm spot to eat in a casual atmosphere. We loved our experience here and we will be back again. It was a stark contrast to the hustle of the more touristy locations in the area. Thanks for a great experience."
"I was there last Saturday, and I was advised every table was waiting over an hour for food, including simple sandwiches, owing to issues in the kitchen. Our server (Sutton?) was wonderful and accommodating. It took about 20+ minutes for our appetizer to arrive, which was calamari, overcooked to a dark brown imperfection. We waited an hour or more for the rest of our food. I could see other patrons getting irritable and/or drunk. After a day on the links, I'm sure libations were the first consideration, since there's "a sandwich in every beer." I fault management, or lack thereof, for a kitchen unable to turn over orders, especially appetizers. If it had been my restaurant, I would have been comping 20% off every bill for the egregious wait, but the servers were on their own to manage damage control for a kitchen in utter chaos. I worked many years in the service industry and this place is unforgiveable."
"At the Leland Lodge, four seasons indoor and outdoor dining with a spectacular view of the golf course and Lake Leelanau. Try the grilled Brussel sprouts appetizer..to die for! Enough for 4 people too. And craft beers on tap. Plus a wine bar, so many temptations!"
"We ate here for a number of meals over the course of a week. Each one was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. The bar put together some great beverages too."
