"Ordered the Doc Shilliday’s Cream Stout. Very good. Small tavern inside but great service and beer. Order pizza from Stone Grill next door. Best kept secret."
"Great little place in a great little village. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the beer was good. The owner said hello and talked with us for a bit, thanked us for stopping on the way out. Can't wait for our next visit."
"Their beer will definitely float your boat. Worth the 20 minute trip from Traverse City. Great variety of craft beers, ciders and soda. We particularly enjoyed the Chocolate Orange Cream Stout. It appears that they often have music acts that perform on their outdoor stage and we were lucky enough to enjoy The Jameson Brothers on a Saturday night. The outdoor area is set up very nicely with tables and chairs so that everyone can see the stage. Towards the end of the night we had a delicious vegetable pizza. All in all, excellent beer, excellent food and excellent music – we had a fabulous time. We will definitely be returning when visiting Traverse City or passing through the area again."
"Went out of our way to get here. Definitely a good find. Had an American IPA and Coffee Blonde. Both were good, to bad my wife spilled some on the way outside. Nice shared outdoor space with stage. They had some of the best merch of the brewies we went to in Michigan."
"The outside space is family friendly (dogs too). Great drink options for all (beer, wine, cider, mead, and local sodas). The music is great and everyone is just in a good mood. Having an ice cream shop and a pizza place as neighbors adds to it being a perfect summertime evening place to be!"
