"Cool atmosphere, great menu, and amazing food. This is the best Mexican food I've ever had. My wife and brother-in-law are more foodies than I am and they were blown away, too. Service was a bit lacking (had to wait for water refills, extra tortillas) but could have just had an off night. Service was very friendly in spite of it. We ordered four different entrees and an app and shared all our dishes to experience as much as we could since we're rarely in the area. Everything was delicious, hot, and plentiful. Drink menu (craft cocktails, craft beer) was great, too. 5 stars all the way. Can't wait to come back."
"We stopped in for dinner & although they were very busy, everyone was friendly, helpful & happy. Unique atmosphere. We enjoyed pitchers of margaritas, chips, salsa & guacamole and taco flights. The taco flights were a great way to try a variety of their specialty tacos and they were yummy! Bartender was a wealth of information & its a family run business. We will definitely be returning!"
"Restaurant adds a unique flair and flavor to Frankfort. The food was delicious and well prepared. Big city style! We sat at the bar and were happily entertained by the bartenders. They put on fun show. Great menu of handcrafted cocktails. And their beans are killer!"
"The food was delicious and colorful, the taco flavors were exceptional (especially the camarones and tinga) and most of all, I had a really great customer service experience. My 4 yr. old daughter threw up on the bathroom floor and every staff member involved was kind, helpful, friendly, and patient. Natalie even went the extra mile of offering me Tide wipes for my clothes, which I gladly accepted. Such good people and a fabulous, memorable restaurant!"
"An unfortunately bad experience that’s definitely not worth the wait. Expect to leave feeling underwhelmed, hungry, and overcharged. Although possibly filling a gap in the local restaurant offering, they definitely have some improvements to make in order to match the hype. Anticipating a busy restaurant, we made a reservation a few days ahead of time to make sure we’d be able to get in. But when we arrived we were told that even though there were seats outside, they were being saved for a later party. We were seated in a small and somewhat cramped indoor seats. During our time there a restaurant employee was conducting an interview in the west directly next to us, which made it difficult to have our own conversations. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful, and encouraged us to try the chips and salsa. These ended up being the best part of the meal! Their salsas were very delicious with well developed flavors, although the chips weren’t all too exciting. Be warned, the drinks were small! Even taking into consideration any handmade elements, the drinks felt very overpriced for the size and quality. Flavor wise, the margaritas were good and the Takes Two To Mango was delicious! But the mint sangria was very bad… like must-have-missed-an-ingredient bad, which isn’t good for a $10+ drink. The tacos were incredibly small, and had the bare minimum in terms of flavor and toppings. We have no problem spending $4-5 per taco when the quality is worth it. The Al Pastor taco we received had 3 pieces of white onion(seriously… look at that picture), 3 small pieces of pineapple, a mere dibble of sauce, a single leaf of cilantro, and had less flavor than something you’d get from Taco Bell. The churros, although good, were small 2 inch-long segments and came without any type of sauce. For $9 I would expect at least they typical chocolate sauce."
