"Went here looking for authentic Louisiana cooking, and we were not disappointed. I started with the gumbo, and my wife started with the crawfish chowder. Both were fantastic with just the right amount of heat. We both had the jambalaya, which was spicy and wonderful! We ended the meal with beignet, which was also delicious. It was a great meal with a great atmosphere!"
"MAKE A RESERVATION!! We had a 7:30 reservation and it was Super long wait for everyone with an appointment but only about 30 minutes for us so we got in at 8 BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!Our waitress was definitely overwhelmed with customers but she did absolutely amazing. And it isn’t all that expensive! The bread basket was yummy, and The food was AMAZING and so were the drinks! For starters the crawfish cakes were mouthwatering delicious heaven as well as the Bayou alligator! Do your favor and GET THE HUSH PUPPYS!!! For my meal I got the shrimp and grits and it was SO DELICIOUS OH MY GOODNESS!! I also got a cherry margarita, and I swear it is the best drink I have had my entire life! The hurricane is just a basic drink. But DEFINITELY GOOO!! I will recommend this to absolutely everyone that will listen!"
"Our server was friendly, patient, and gracious. I ordered the jambalaya, and my two dining companions ordered the shrimp Alfredo and the Southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Meals were served with a bread basket of jalapeño cornbread, French bread, and whipped butter placed on the table. We all agreed that the jalapeño cornbread was unexpectedly delicious. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed the appearance, portion size, and taste of our food. Although our server made a point of warning that the jambalaya was spicy, I thought it was perfect. The coffee served was bold and brewed just the way I like it. I would have preferred a small carafe of fresh half & half to add to my coffee instead of the tiny, shelf stable, and over packaged offering. I look forward to returning."
"Bailey was a FABULOUS server. The food was pricey but well worth it. My only negative was the wait. The New Orleans smell made you hungry immediately after entering. The atmosphere was suitable for all ways dressed."
